Great for young kids. Overall, would recommend.
Our 2.5 year old loves this cubby. We hope it withstands the test of time and that she’ll be enjoying it for years to come. My review: I think by the time our daughter is 7 or 8 years old, she will be too tall to fit comfortably inside the cubby part. The addition of the sink, play tap and blackboard inside is great for imaginative play. We opted to leave the doorway into the cubby as an opening rather than attach the mini door. Having stairs means that younger children would be able to climb up to the top quite safely. The slide ends on the ground which was initially difficult for our young child to navigate as it became quite steep. We put a little stool underneath the bottom of the slide as a temporary solution and will replace it with a besser block soon. Having slight elevation under the slide helped a lot. It took myself and my dad 8 hours total to build, over a few days. Most of it could be built solo, but having a second person there to find the correct pieces, get the next steps organised, hold pieces in place while screwed in etc. was helpful. I have no building experience but my dad is quite handy which was also helpful. Some of the holes weren’t pre-drilled to the correct diameter so we had to make them bigger. Some of the bolts have very sharp tops which we sanded down ourselves to prevent injury. Overall, it all came together quite well and I’m happy with this product.
