Perfect Match Glass Bottle 230ML White

In an attempt to go plastic free for my baby’s bottles I decided to try NUK. The bottle itself is fantastic, however, I noticed when reading the instructions for sterilisation it only mentioned boiling or steam sterilisation. I own a UV steriliser so I emailed NUK customer service to enquire about UV sterilisation, unfortunately they advised me of the following: “Our quality department discourage our customers from using a UV steriliser. The UV rays could damage the material of our bottles and the structure of our products could cause shadows so that the sterilization is not as successful as expected.” After doing further research I also came across some articles that state NUK bottles tested positive for lead in the paint on the outside of their glass bottles…I hope that this is not relevant to the glass bottles sold at baby bunting/within AUS, surely that sort of thing is regulated here???

This is a fantastic bottle with a great teat, the only Pigeon soft touch rival on the market. It’s a very slow flow though slower than pigeon. If you find the teat that comes with the bottle is collapsing it’s because it’s too slow for your baby, size up.

Had high hopes for this bottle.. love that we’re getting more glass options but unfortunately was disappointed. The nipple is forever collapsing, the markings for filling the bottle are on the outside and easily come off. Wish it was better! Going to try the Chicco next
