Nuby Insulated Hard Spout Cup

I bought these for my 2.5 yr old. I was happy for them as they were insulated and cute. The valve does not stay in place. Every day towards the end, the valve is out of place. It's in the cup every time. I tossed them in the recycle bin.. No point. Both cups did this.

I love these cups, they are easy for my 20 month to hold. We needed a hard spout cup that was easy to hold (transitioning from soft spout w/handles) because she was chewing on the soft spouts. Bonus that these were insulated. We loved the first 3 so much I ordered two more. The cups in the second set the valves weren’t open enough to suck the fluid through the valve. I had to pierce the valve myself and the valve would loosen, fall out of place with the inevitable toddler toss and leak everywhere. I think it was just a faulty valve, I’m hoping the replacements I ordered do the trick. I was also disappointed after a week of use and few dishwasher cycles, the insulated wall started getting water trapped in between causing mold/mildew after not being able to the dampness out. In the end we decided these cups were perfect for our daughter so we reordered the easy sipper hard spout cups that were not insulted. I hope we figure out the valves going forward, I’d be very disappointed if these cups that work so well for my little one weren’t usable.
