Bright Starts Silly Spout Whale Popper

I received this as a gift for my 9 month old and absolutely love it. The first joy was watching my little one, who was still learning how to crawl, bop up and down to the music. The next phase was learning to smash the water spout to make the music and pop the ball. Next was learning how to reinsert the ball (when I chase it down and hand it back) and the final phase of course is chasing the ball and returning for more fun. This toy has tons of replay value. We have a new 11 month old now and my 3 year old still enjoys popping the ball and singing the short tunes. The only downside is that 1 song is unfamiliar to me - it would be nice if a little song book with lyrics was included to match the playlist. Everyone watching gets a good laugh watching the kids play with this toy.

This was my baby's favorite toy for months! Initially he liked the music and learned to push the water spout to turn on the music. Later he learned how to drop the balls into the water spout, and after than he learned that the balls come out of the mouth and he can chase them. As a mom, I like the music is tolerable, and a therapist, I love that this toy promoted so much learning related to cause and effect and motor skills. I highly recommend this toy for 6-12 month old babies.
