City Mini 2/ GT2 / Elite 2 Single Car Seat Adapters Maxi Cosi

To get the carseat onto this adapter you have to *very* precisely position a heavy, awkward object over the arms, which is difficult for both me (5'4") and my husband (6'1"). You can't jiggle it into place because the arms are flimsy and go into a narrow opening on the carseat. Since this is difficult I usually have to make multiple attempts, during which the adapter sometimes comes off the stroller. Sometimes the adapter arms pop off when we fold the stroller. Once, one of the arms stayed attached to the carseat when we took it off the stroller. Installing the adapter on the stroller is easy but it doesn't matter because every subsequent step drives me crazy. We use this with a Clek Liing carseat. The carseat and stroller are each great, but because the adapter is so bad I STRONGLY recommend against buying the combination. I thought writing this review would be cathartic but I just feel mad thinking about it, argh.

The adapters for the car seat are high/long. When the stroller is folded up these stick out significantly still, slightly worried they will break but seem to be good quality.. Also you can not use the sun canopy on the stroller with this car seat and adapters. It has to be removed in order for the car seat to fit on the stroller. The car seat does click on and off easily and the seat is very light.
