Those bags are so toxic. I was freezing my milk for over a month until I decided to get my baby to try one and when I opened them I was shocked. I have to now throw out all my milk because those bags have a very bad toxic smell, so all my milk is bad. I tried smelling just a fresh bag and it’s so bad. So devastated.

The top of the bag is so big that the milk runs down and makes a huge mess when closing the bag. It also doesn’t stay open with one hand for you to pour the milk in. There are much better bags out there.

I only got this because the Medela ones that I normally get were sold out and I couldn’t find other ones. It is very long, hard to pour expressed milk into and it has 2 zippers so when pouring it in a lot of milk gets stuck in the first zipper? It’s overall a weird design but does the job if other brands are sold out I guess. I didn’t even finish the packet of this. Bought New Beginning ones instead (medela still sold out) Also the material is very shiny, can only write on with permanent marker.

The markings are not accurate due to the shape of the bag, best to measure according to bottles. Caution when filling and standing up as they are not very stable and therefore can fall over easily.

The bags have a generous label section at the top which is perfect for including details for storing milk and it does double duty by helping to guide the milk into the main pouch. It almost acts as a funnel which reduces spillage. I also like the thicker ticks on the bag which are easier to see at night or when you are tired (i.e. all the time)! Overall, these bags are great. The only downside I would say is that the bags have a narrower base and can spill over if you over fill them. From experience, it is better to fill the bags with less milk so there is more flexibility, so this can be mitigated!

When I first used the Avent Brest milk storage bags, I was surprised how thin they felt, having a harder plastic feel than the bags I previously used. That being said, they are surprisingly durable and sturdy yet the zipper closure is fairly easy to open and close. I liked the security of a tamper-proof opening, but found opening the bag slightly tricky at times. I didn't like the fact you had to rip open the top as opposed to a perforated opening I've seen on other bags. I also didn't like the fact that you had to throw out a piece of plastic afterwards or have it still attached to the bag. It made for some irregular openings but didn't impact the ability to pour milk into it. The ease of closing and double leak-proof seal was nice, as was the large space to write all the information you need to. The bag stands up well to transfer your milk but doesn't feel as stable as other bags I've used. Despite this, I had no issues with bags toppling over and spilling the precious liquid gold! One of my favourite features was how nicely the bags lay flat for freezing purposes. With the bags I previously used, I would freeze them standing up and it was not as nearly as space-efficient or easy as with the Avent bags. Overall these milk storage bags stood up to the test of a busy breastfeeding and pumping mom and made the tedious process of breast milk storage a little easier due to thoughtful design features, easy closing and lay flat capability. They are not my favourite bags but if my first choice were not available I would choose these as a good back up. The bags open nice and wide so it's easy to transfer pumped milk into them without spilling. The bags are easy to write on so you can record all the important information. The bags allow the milk to freeze and thaw quickly and they lay nice and flat when frozen. I would recommend this product to all Mom's looking to store pumped breast milk.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) These bags are great, they freeze nice and flat and you can fit 10 flat bags in a large freezer bag perfectly for easier storage. I really like that they have a space to write my baby's name as I am planning to send them to daycare when I return to work. So far none of the bags have leaked which is super important to me. I also like how sturdy they are standing up on the counter while I pour the milk into them so all the milk ends up in the bag and not spilt all over the counter. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) These are some of the best breast milk storage bags out there. I had to pump after every nursing for months with my first baby as I had some supply struggles - I tried a few different storage bags and these are the ones I stuck with, and continue to use with baby number two. They are sturdy and lie really flat, which makes freezer storage easy and well organized. The flat freezing also makes these so quick to defrost in a bowl of water. They've got a good area for adding info, though I do wish it were a bit smaller as it's hard not to drizzle into the zip lock when pouring. I like that the bags are kept totally sealed and sanitary until use, when you rip off the top. These are particularly good for large volumes of milk, as they stand on their own during filling. I will say I don't find the measurements on the side align with what my bottles say for volume, so I tend to stick with what the bottle says. I'd probably give these 4.5 stars, but closer to 5 than 4. Thanks to the stellar panel for providing me with these breast milk storage bags. This did not impact my rating, as I have been using these a few years now and have found them to be best for freezer stacking.
