Crayola Signature Drawing/Colouring/Sketching Tri-Color Pencils - 12 Pieces

I used each pencil & twisted it as I colored. They all came out without color gradations. The description makes it like, it's blue on one side, green next to it and purple the third portion. But no. The colors are all mixed in like little flecks, so you can't deliberately make a blue mark, turn it and make a green mark. Both marks are haphazard. There may be teeny little flecks of color on the paper, but to the eye, no, it reads as all one mush. At that price there is no differential from regular pencils you can wield with intention.

My only complaint about the Crayola Signature Tri-Colored Color Pencils? That they only come in boxes of twelve. If more tri-color options became available (for example, one with reds included, one with grays, one with golds, one with silvers, etc.), I would never have to buy another kind of colored pencil ever again. I recently acquired a box of the Tri-Colored Colored Pencils. The initial reason I purchased them was because they were Crayola Signature. When I first put them to paper, I was pleased that, like the rest of the Signature line, they glided smoothly across the page, creating a more completely colored in, brighter, more vibrant finished product than the regular line of Crayola Colored Pencils. As my project went from incomplete to about halfway through, I saw the difference between the tri-colored pencils and the other solid color Signature pencils. One pencil gave a dog's fur varying shades of brown, grass different hues of green, the sun a mixture of yellows, oranges, and reds, the ocean a swirling cauldron of greens and blues, and the night sky a canopy of deep blues and purples swirled in among the black. Now, if at all possible, I reach for a tri-colored pencils before a solid color. The finished result is a more beautiful, more vibrant, more realistic product. Dog's aren't just one color, grass isn't one shade of green, the night sky isn't completely black, nor is the ocean a solid blue. If you get these, you won't be disappointed.

I bought this as a gift for my granddaughter and she just loves the tri-colored pencils. She is enjoying using them as she has recently shown interest in sketching and drawing

There is a place in my collection of pencils for these but some times they don't deliver the tri-colors. I like the brown for coloring tree trunks and branches. Makes them look very natural. I bought a second tine recently.

I bought these recently and enjoy using them! They’re good quality and sharpen easily.

I really liked these pencils but the tin they came in was really bad it was hard to open and had 3 dents in it when it arrived. Also one of the pencils broke during shipping. I know that Crayola has better tins (I own 3) and think they should have put it on this product.

I am in love with these colors! My only complaint, I wish there were more options available.

I love them , that is why I bought more . And had not finished my first set.

I bought them, the tips of these pencils break easily and when you take out your tip with the pencil sharpener it is broken until you run out of pencil. I do not know if it was the box I bought that was defective but they are a disappointment. I tried to get my money back but the store didn't accepted.
